What is it?
Arvigo® Therapy supports a woman’s health throughout her life cycle. (Men definitely benefit too! Offering to women only at this time.) This external abdominal and lower back massage improves organ function by increasing the flow of blood, lymph, nerve impulses and chi – all essential for good tissue health. By relieving congestion and repositioning internal organs – such as a prolapsed or tilted womb – difficult symptoms may be relieved.

Are there any contraindications?
No direct massage is applied over the womb during menses, within 6 weeks of vaginal birth, within 6-12 weeks of any abdominal or pelvic surgery, if an IUD is present, with active infection in the abdominal cavity, and during first trimester of pregnancy.
What to expect
Your initial session of two hours entails a review of your health history and current challenges, anterior and posterior (lumbar and sacral spine) therapy, and teaching you the techniques of self-care massage. You will be treated with massage oil on a warm table and draped modestly. I may recommend herbs or nutrition to complement your bodywork.
Follow-up sessions are 60-90 minutes. We will check in about your current health and self-care massage. Most chronic conditions require at least 3 consecutive months of Arvigo Therapy to bring about lasting change.
