Considering a Homebirth during the pandemic

Please choose birth at home because you desire and trust a physiologic, "natural" birth
.
You must meet the criteria for "low risk" in Colorado, which omits people with high blood pressure, diabetes, pulmonary disease, coagulation disorders, HIV, Hepatitis B, uncontrolled seizure disorder, substance abuse; or a history of uncontrolled bleeding,

You must provide your records of prior prenatal care when we meet for a consultation or arrange that I may review them as soon as possible.

Be motivated. Please complete all preparations in a timely manner including getting lab work done, ordering a birth kit, gathering supplies, and keeping all of our appointments.  If there are other children in the house, another adult must be available to tend to them during birth.

I realize this is a challenging time on many levels, including financial.  Sliding scale payment arrangements are available on a case-by-case basis.
