Hi! I've been attending births since 2001 and launched my solo Home Birth midwife practice in 2009. I'm an Enneagram 3; Capricorn Sun, Libra Moon & Libra Rising; and Empress Tarot archetype.
When I work with families in the perinatal time, we engage in a soul-level contract together. I love holding space as women go deeply within and are transformed by the sacred portal of birth.
I value informed decision-making, critical thinking, connection, and hugs. Learning and sharing knowledge brings me joy. Recently I've trained in several Bodywork modalities: craniosacral and myofascial release, and the Arvigo techniques of Maya abdominal therapy. I also have the honor (and stomach butterflies!) to present at birth conferences and teach workshops in my community.
I bring extensive knowledge of herbs, homeopathy, flower essences and nutritional supplements. I was the Lead Practitioner at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy in Boulder for 5+ years. Being truly holistic, I also reach for conventional medicine when indicated.
I'm a married mother of two home-birthed and naturally raised children.. I'm also an herbalist, gardener, hiker and rollerblader. I love Star Wars and Star Trek equally.
